Rendez-vous December 12th for Ibiza Soul Food with the DJ Carl Cox, to help providing food for struggling Ibiza communities!
Carl Cox is performing on December 12th to raise money for the Ibiza communities who are out of work and are struggling because of the crisis. The event is the first of a series called ‘Ibiza Soul Food’ in collaboration with virtual venue Woov.
Ibiza Soul Food is a series of online events in support of the Ibiza Food Bank, which together with more than 250 volunteers, is delivering food to those in urgent need on the island.
Ibiza’s music scene has given so much to millions of people who visit the island each year and now it’s give something back to the people who help nurture the scene in a time when it’s most needed.
100% of the money raised will be used to purchase coupons for fresh food such as meat, fish, eggs, and yoghurt. These will be given alongside weekly food parcels that are delivered and collected by 5000-6000 people every week in Ibiza.
Carl Cox said: “Ibiza has been a 2nd home to me for many years. The island is a breeding ground of creativity, amazing friendships and incredible people. Some of these people now need our help in these turbulent times and I’m super excited to be part of the first Ibiza Soul Food edition”.
