Christopher Kah is always reinventing himslef, this time, with motion, music and evolution, through his project RE/SET and his label's new EP: 'Party'!
Christopher Kah is investigating visual experiences, innovative music, and also education through the fresh and original project, RE/SET. Moreover, the launch of the project is accompanied by an outstanding cinematic EP entitled “Party”, which is the soundtrack to a short film he has made for the project.
This RE/SET project is an initiative consisting of three sectors – Intuitive Motion, Intuitive Music, and Intuitive Evolution – in all of which the long term producer shares his extensive expertise from decades of experience in the music industry, never shying away from thinking outside of the box. It is a wholesome project embracing visual concepts alongside the aural, creating an immersive experience combining two of his deepest passions: film, and music.
RE/SET will be another offshoot of his already existing labels, a safe haven for minimalistic sounds. The first EP of this variety entitled ‘Party’ is an exploration of Ambient and Electronica, of course with Christopher’s attention to the minor details, ensuring the essence of each sound is captivated. Each of the tracks pushes a maximum of three machines to their limits.
Finally, to round off the package, Christopher has also recently launched his teaching residency at Longevity Music School based in Strasbourg. Check it out HERE.
According to Christopher, “ Musical creation is often associated with technical music, requiring specific skills. It can also appear as complicated, whether facing a computer, or facing machines. I will show you that by taking the time, by exploring other facets, by seeing things from different angles, by being really attentive to the sounds, we can both have fun, without getting bored, and move forward at the same time.
The important thing is the feeling that YOU will have during your composition!”
