I've always preferred giving my finished pre-master to a mixing engineer to get it sounding warm & loud. Is that considered not producing now?

4. Must be hard
Being a DJ is such a crazy contrast cause you'll be playing a packed club full of hundreds of thousands of people screaming and dancing and afterwards be alone in your hotel or standing alone on a dark street waiting for a cab in silence

It's crazy how many big artists use ghost producers! And i mean the MAJORITY of the artists that you like! I generally dont have a problem with this as long as both parties are happy, but feel bad for the ghost producers that spend most of their own time on other peoples careers

If you don't know how to set up turntables and you wanna get into party organizing & promoting, for the love of god pls just hire a technician to help you instead of making your performers do the setup for you.

7. Day parties are the best!
Just saw a techno set tonight with the headliner playing from 8-10pm. It was great. Folks, we do not have to subject ourselves to leaving the function at 2am. There is a world in which we can go to the show and wake up at 7am. We are doing this to ourselves for no reason. pic.twitter.com/MXqDI4V7pp
