The Amsterdam Dance Event invited guests and visitors for a chat: here are five key takeaways and learnings from the first ADE in Conversation!
The ADE strikes again with a very interesting live stream that was chockfull of thought-provoking insights! Last Thursday, they invited some guests to chat with visitors and made a compilation of the best key learnings:
Juan Arnau (elrow) on the next five years for the industry: “I really believe that from October onwards we’re going to have probably the biggest boom in the electronica scene in the next five years, I am really, really positive about it.”
Maria May (CAA): “I think this is part of us actually growing up as a business, that we need to start PR-ing the value we bring to society and that’s fundamental for future-proofing ourselves — Let’s really unify now.”
Richie Hawtin on creating value with NFTs: “That’s what do we do as humans, we create, we connect, we communicate, and so if we can create more value, it can make all of our scenes stronger than ever. It could bring back that feeling that we all share a common goal together.”
Pieter Lubberts (Fieldlab): “I’m pretty sure we can have more visitors, October is still a long way away, so with the vaccination program and testing I’m pretty sure that we can have much more capacity for events.”
3LAU and Richie: “Humans really have an attachment and emotional value to owning a ‘special edition’ — It’s exciting and I believe that it will take years for the whole industry to catch up, but let’s not wait, let’s lead and empower our community.”
