Being one of the pioneering forces of the electronic music scene over the past four decades, Jean-Michel Jarre set out the the world with his 1970s album entitled OXYGENE. This was one of the basis of electronic music, the artist selling over 80 million albums worldwide to date.
Recently, the artist unveiled Oxygene 3, which celebrates the 40th anniversary of the all-time classic. This also marks the final chapter of the Oxygene triology.
The album is a 40-minute, one-take masterpiece celebrating Jarre's inspiration for his electronic music career. It's a state of the art recording, having a touch of both classic and modern ways of production.
Jean-Michel Jarre surprised all of his fans recently with a vibrant video for the album, particularly enhancing the single Oxygene Pt.17. In the artist's words, “It is ironic to think back in time when everybody was obsessed by improving the signal to noise ratio, that I used so much noise as part of my music”.
