Many artists have passed through the festival grounds: Fritz Kalkbrenner, Solomun, Vitalic, Worakls, Claptone, DJ Koze, Synapson, De la soul, The Avener, Tale of Us, Dub Inc, Lorenzo, Biga Ranx, Don Choa, the S-Crew… The goal? Bring to life and highlight Marseille… and its artists, too. This is the case of rapper Alonzo who will return to tread his native land at the festival on September 7, for example. In addition to the natives of the Phocaean city, Acontraluz endeavors to program artists according to their actuality, their talent and the energy they release.
Acontraluz is a party.
For ten days, the entire city of Marseille is invested: by designer furniture, concerts and DJ Sets in the street, but above all … light. Acontraluz is a musical and visual festival.
A SENSORY FESTIVAL
Close your eyes, imagine: an increased festival, richer, even denser, transmedia and on various sites. This is what awaits you for the 2018 edition of the Acontraluz festival.
An extraordinary sensory experience that combines music, visual and plastic arts. But also the highlighting of the architectural beauties and natural sites of our territory.
RECYCLED AND AESTHETIC FURNITURE
The intervention of designers and architects to work on the artistic environment outside of music, within the perimeter of the festival. Two pavilions created by artists, architects, designers. The laissez-passer collective created the Caravansérail for several months , a poetic place made of recycled materials for you, festival-goers.
All these elements complete the music festival by creating aesthetic, ecological and visual conditions. Music and musical programming are two essential elements but it is also necessary to create the optimal conditions for the appropriation by you! Enough to create for ten days a creative framework allowing the pleasure of being together and exchanging.
