Cloud 9 Music opened its doors on 1 December 2004 and has a Publishing and Records Department. The company is the leading independent Benelux Publisher, representing a wide range of authors and catalogues. Armin van Buuren, Lost Frequencies, Hardwell, Showtek, W&W, NERVO, Fedde Le Grand, Josylvio, Firebeatz, Da Beatfreakz, Van Dik Hout, Esko, Jairzinho, Fais, Chivv, Kevin and Sevn Alias are just some of the names represented by its publishing department. As a sub-publisher Cloud 9 represents Elvis Presley, Ultra Music, Bucks Music, Dipiu Music, Roba Music, Scorpio Music, Just Isn’t Music (Ninja Tune), Pen Music, Memory Lane, Kassner and many others.
The Records department represents artists like Jebroer, Snelle, Esko, GLOWINTHEDARK, Outsiders, Paul Sinha, Kinderen voor amongst others. The department represents labels like ROQ ’N Rolla Music, Masters of Hardcore and Pagara Music Group. In the last 10 years the Cloud 9 Music released successful compilations like ‘A State Of Trance Yearmix – Mixed By Armin van Buuren’, ‘EnBloc’, ‘De Leukste Kids Hits’, ‘Hardstyle The Ultimate Collection’ and ‘Tomorrowland’.
Cloud 9 Music has its own office in Belgium, called Tous Ensemble Music. It also owns a 50% share in the English Publishing company Phrased Differently, which represents songs like “How Deep Is Your Love” – Calvin Harris and “Stargazing”- Kygo. Phrased Differently represents 20 authors and owns 7 studios in London.
