The ElectroBeach adventure started in 2009 and never stopped growing. Year after year, the festival built a solid reputation, being one of the rare outdoor elec tro big events in the french summer. Known for its perfect weather, Port-Barcarès is an estimated holiday destination for a lot of Europeans during July & August. ElectroBeach festival always manages to match this tourism attractivity, allowing Port-Barcarès to create a popular event dedicated to DJ and Electronic Music Dance.
During 4 years, the event was free and open to everyone. In 2013, to celebrate 5 years of constant progress, ElectroBeach turns into a real big EDM festival. It will be many international DJ’s on board, have it always have. Fedde Le Grand, David Tort, Bob Sinclar, ElectroBeach in the past years. In 2012, Steve Aoki, Corsten Ferry, Basto, Example, Sebastien Benett & Tara McDonald got wild on ElectroBeach stage, in front of 40000 party people.
5 YEARS & A NEW DIMENSION IN 2013
This year, 20 DJ’s are expected, which are most famous in the world Top 100 DJ Mag. Some of the best international EDM stars will rock the outdoor beautiful spot, in the heart of Port-Barcarès. The big and impressive stage, full of LED and lights, will be in front of the Mediterranean Sea and the Lydia famous boat. ElectroBeach is sure to attract a high number of clubbers, lovers & tourists festival.
Launched in 2009 at the initiative of Joëlle Ferrand, then Mayor of Barcarès, the ElectroBeach festival has seen its notoriety soar year by year. Organized by the Tourist Office and the municipality of Barcarès, outdoors and close to the famous liner Le Lydia, the event was able to combine the codes of a festival of electronic music (where DJs are in the spotlight) , the European tourist attraction ultra-dynamic territory in summer and the benefits of a popular atmosphere, free and accessible to all. Last year, nearly 40,000 people came together in front of the big stage, always more imposing and adorned with innovative technologies, to vibrate on music distilled by a host of international artists such as Steve Aoki, Ferry Corsten, Basto , Example,
The ElectroBeach festival has always bet on relying on electronic music and international DJs. Given the extent of the DJ phenomenon in the world, especially in the United States for two years, we can say that this bet has paid off. Electronic music is no longer restricted to the small world of clubs. They emerge everywhere, whether on radio waves, television, Internet, but also on the scenes of festivals of all kinds, which incorporate it copiously into their programming.
