The FAMILY PIKNIK adventure began in 2012 under the impetus of Montpellier DJ-producer TOM POOKS. Like Love Family Park in Germany, our festival is based on a philosophy other than the one that drives big festivals and super-productions. Here, it is above all to welcome techno and electronic music fans in a warm, simple and festive atmosphere, where the cries of joy of children mingle with the shouts of joy of parents eager for vibrating musical sensations. A summer picnic atmosphere, under the generous sun of southern France, with a host of top international DJ-producers.
As its name suggests, the festival is all about bringing people of all generations to unite and celebrate the communal euphoria of electronic music. Expect then, in addition to its party spaces and strong billing of the underground electronic acts, areas for young and old, from picnics, supervised play areas and spaces for those with reduced mobility. Since 2012 this inclusive combination has won this open-air festival a faithful and diverse crowd of increasing size.
