Mark Ursa, otherwise known as Marc Vandersmissen, was born in Belgium.
Mark caught soon the virus of House Music and in the early 2000’s he started to release tracks under the names “Pornstar Deluxe”, “Mark’s Attack”, “Art D’echo”, and move to Ibiza where he started his career of DJ.
His first recorded success was the single “Welcome to planet Ibiza”, exclusively distributed in Ibiza, which was played by all during that summer. It was also the first time a Belgian DJ gets a weekly residence in Ibiza (Privilege Ibiza).
Since 2006, Mark Ursa shares his time between Brazil, Miami, Las Vegas and Ibiza. He plays in all the Superclubs around the world including Space Ibiza (7 times #1 DJ Mag), Green Valley (#1 DJ Mag), Ushuaia (#2 DJ Mag), Pacha (#7 DJ Mag), Fabric (#9 DJ Mag), Amnesia Ibiza (#12 DJ Mag), Laroc (#29 DJ Mag) and more 16 clubs of the Top100 of the magazine. He got few residencies as a DJ for parties at Privilege, Space Ibiza, Blue Marlin Ibiza, Nikki Beach Ibiza, Drai’s Las Vegas and on the “Bloco Yes” at the Brazilian carnival where he plays in front of 3 million people.
He played in the biggest festivals in the world, including 4 times in a row at TOMORROWLAND (Belgium) and on the Main Stage of the Ultra Music Festival in Brazil.
Mark came back on studio and remixed the last 3 Hits of Bob Sinclar: “summer Moonlight”, “Till the sun rise up” w/ Akon and “Feel the vibe”, and the “Zookey” from Yves Larock. He reaches the first position of the European charts.
His remix of David Guetta « Dangerous » was a worldwide success too.
Nowadays, Mark is the resident DJ of the pool party DLTI (Dress Less To Impress), resident DJ of Tantra Ibiza and Resident DJ of Miami Massive at Nikki Beach Miami. This year, his track “SAY” with a sample of Whitney Houston turned into a hit in Ibiza and throughout Europe.
