About Printworks London
Cultural destination, Printworks London first opened its doors in January 2017. Once home to the largest printing factory in Western Europe, the original aesthetics, giant machines and printing presses have been preserved to create a stunning, industrial environment for a dynamic array of events. Our award-winning seasonal music series showcases the best in live and electronic music, becoming a vital part of the city’s vibrant cultural scene today and garnering global acclaim.
Printworks comprises 6-acres of private, gated land, with seven event spaces arranged over multiple levels with a maze of corridors and office space. The venue offers over 10,000 sq.m of versatile, industrial event space with a capacity of 6,000 and a 2 am license on weekends. A further 1000 sq.m of outdoor space is also available and offers producers, agencies and brands creative, flexible and inspiring infrastructure.
Some features of the printing plant have been retained including the van loading dock and metal stairs, creating an industrial feel in the club. The club has an overall capacity of 5,000 people for DJ events across two performance rooms (the Print Halls and the Darkroom).
