Hailing from Napoli, Sasha Carassi is a DJ, producer and composer whose style
weaves eclectically through the electronic landscape. From the house and breakbeat sound of the late 90s to the Techno, Melodic and Deep House sound of today, Sasha brings an air of quality to both his DJ sets and productions alike.
Sasha began his musical journey working as a resident DJ at Dinamik, the most famous club at the time in that area.
2002 saw the release of his first album “Time Design” on Hole Records, after which followed a slew of well-received singles that cemented his reputation as a producer.
2010 was a massive year for Sasha production-wise, with releases on a host of big labels including the mighty Drumcode and Bedrock. This saw him make his presence known in the darker, big-room oriented side of the genre.
Sasha loves the studio and his output is always visceral and atmospheric with trademark touches that make his tunes instantly recognizable.
Founder of one of the most respected Techno labels “Phobiq”, Sasha has guided the label from strength to strength, releasing killer cuts discovering many talents as well as his own.
An avid vinyl collector since the late 80s, Sasha is heavily influenced by Funk, New Wave, Electro, Rock and Soul music.
Known as a “seasoned veteran”, Sasha is revered within the Electronic Music scene for his skill and work ethic.
