I'm sure we're all familiar with Showtek and Major Lazer's collaboration entitled “Believer,” because it's gotten all the buzz on the internet after performances at Lollapalooza, Burning Man, Parookaville, and many more.
The song has gotten 50 million streams in a matter of weeks, not only because of the two DJ's hardstyle elements, but also because of Freetown Collective and Q Major's vocals.
Now, to accompany the song, a music video has been released directed by Christopher Louie, known for his recent film XOXO. When explaining his vision, Christopher says, “The concept of the video was inspired by the images of Omran Daqneesh, the Syrian boy covered in dust in the ambulance after his house was hit by a bomb. Like everyone in the world, I was heartbroken by that image. But I also saw a glimmer of hope.”
