Richie Hawtin’s ‘From Our Minds’ Tour is set to be a game-changer, as it becomes the 1st to partner with Aslice, a visionary revenue-sharing platform.
Electronic music pioneer Richie Hawtin is partnering with Aslice, a new revenue-sharing platform, for his upcoming North American tour. The “From Our Minds” tour will showcase the next generation of techno artists in underground venues and warehouses across the US and Canada, starting on March 10th.
Aslice allows DJs to share their earnings with the producers whose music they play in their sets. The service helps close the income gap between DJs and producers, making the music ecosystem fairer for all. DJs can easily report their earnings and donate a portion of their live income to the producers whose music they play, which Aslice then distributes.
Founded in 2021 by American DJ and producer Zak Khutoretsky (aka DVS1), Aslice has been called a “game-changer in the electronic music world” for its ability to fix the broken system of collection societies. The platform has the potential to pay an estimated $55 million annually to music producers, moving beyond the current performance rights collections model.

The partnership between Richie Hawtin‘s tour and Aslice is a groundbreaking move towards greater equality across all sectors of the electronic music industry. Hawtin has long been committed to supporting the development of the scene and using technology to make it more equitable.
The “From Our Minds” tour builds on Hawtin’s previous CNTRL tours in 2012 and 2015, which aimed to educate a new generation of electronic music enthusiasts on the sound and origins of techno. Today, as techno becomes increasingly popular and commercialized, Hawtin is once again seeking to provide context and nurture the underground, playing intimate warehouse shows with independent promoters.
The tour will work with independent local promoters who are respectful of the history and future of techno music, and who prioritize sustainability in the programming, planning, and execution of their events. All venue locations will be provided to ticket buyers the day of the show.
