The Island of Ibiza, in Spain, will see its outdoors clubs be the first ones to open this summer! The indoor discos will have to wait until August.
The meetings between the leisure association of Ibiza and directors of the Government and the Balearic Institute of Security are still active. The latest news from the Ibiza Leisure Association is that the de-escalation in the leisure sector will follow the model followed by the hotel industry, so that on the island, clubs located outdoors will be able to open first.
Clubs such as Ushuaïa, Cova Santa or Destino could hold events by mid-July, while indoor discos will have to wait until August.
We will have to wait until next week to know more details about the future of the clubs on the island, but for the moment, it seems that the feelings are positive. The administrations want to ensure with the maximum of measures, and most importantly, to check the progress of the pandemic and vaccination in the coming weeks.
The negotiations between businessmen and administrations continue so that the clubs of Ibiza can open this year!
