French clubs are getting together in this difficult period. Every week, they will be broadcasting livestreams. Here's another chance to party from our home!
With United We Stream France, the hashtag #SaveTheParty (#SauvonsLaFête in French) makes, more than ever, all its sense. The daily livestream platform sets up an initiative with French clubs: a live every week. Helped by the association Technopol, the digital platform will arrive in France in early June 2020. All of this to support the French cultural industry.
Indeed, “The unprecedented crisis affecting the ecosystem of electronic music and nightlife has brought dozens of places, entrepreneurs, artists and intermittent employees to a complete halt of their activity.“, explains Tommy Vaudercane, Technopol’s president.
Thus for the occasion, from Thursday to Saturday, DJ sets will be broadcasted on the Arte Concert‘s website. From 7 pm to midnight, you’ll be able to enjoy French artists’ music. To select the participants, a five people jury will study the applications. In the meantime, funds will be collected and at the end, distributed equitably.
Besides, this concept will allow the artists to play in clubs such as Glazart, Petit Bain, Rex Club, or Badaboum, and certainly others as the news will spread. For now, Arnaud Rebotini, Folamour, Evil Grimace, as well as the French DJ AZF, have already announced their participation.
In fact, this project was born in Berlin, Germany, at the beginning of March. Since then, it has been extended to 45 German towns. The concept is quite simple: every day, the platform diffuses DJ sets, played from mythical clubs of the city. On each livestream, we can make donations via a link. United We Stream has already raised more than 330,000 euros and the campaign is still going on.
Waiting for the launch in France by the early June, stay safe and take care of yourself.
