Brazilian electronic producer and DJ ANNA has announced the release of her debut ambient electronic album, ‘Intentions’, which is set to drop on May 19th via Mercury KX. The album is the result of ANNA’s self-realization journey, which led her to alter her creative process and outlook on the world.

According to ANNA, ‘I See Miracles Everywhere’ was the first track to be born and was inspired by a powerful moment of remembrance and connection. While biking on a full moon night along the coast of Barcelona, she suddenly felt overwhelmed by a strong emotion, which allowed her to open her heart and see the incredible beauty and miracles surrounding her. With this track, ANNA aimed to convey this feeling of wonder through an expansive soundscape created with opening and closing synth lines, undulating ambiences, and textures.
ANNA’s forthcoming album ‘Intentions’ is a melodic and expansive soundscape merging with sound healing techniques, dance-leaning beats, binaural beats, and ANNA on flute and synth, channeling her emotions. It includes collaborations with legendary ambient pioneer Laraaji, spiritual practitioner-musician, and contemporary classical giant East Forest, and remixes by London-based electronica and techno producer Max Cooper and Ivor Novello Award nominee and Grammy Award winner Jon Hopkins.
