Hardstyle lovers from 115 different countries around the world tuned in to celebrate the four-day virtual festival of Defqon.1!
The digital experience was insane … Defqon.1 paid tribute to their hardstyle fans with a 4-days-long festival, from home!
Virtual guests from 115 countries got to enjoy shows from over 100 artists. They were performing their sets on the astonishing stages, recorded at the Defqon.1 festival ground in Biddinghuizen.
There were world-class artists such as Villain, Adaro, Ran-D, and Frequencerz. Moreover, an innovative stage design was in the works for 7 months. All of this was recorded by 5 drones piloted by the world’s best racing drone driver. The result is a total of 72 hours of footage for the event.
“It gives us an absolute feeling of pride and joy to see the response of the fans we’ve missed so much the last year, and we can not wait to return with Power Hour at Defqon.1 2022”, says Rogier Werver, Creative Director at Q-dance
Defqon.1 at Home was the first event available on the newly launched Q-dance Network app. The aim is to bridge the gap between virtual festivals and physical events.
The physical edition of Defqon.1 is scheduled from June 23 to June 26, 2022. You can already buy your tickets HERE!
