Ibiza loves a historic moment. And summer 2026 is lining one up already.

Carl Cox has revealed the full scope of his Sunday residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza, running from June 21 to October 4, 2026. But one date towers above the rest: on July 26, Carl Cox and David Guetta will go back-to-back for an all-night-long set — the first time in history the two icons have shared the booth.

Two careers. Two eras of dance music. One night.

A first-time collision

Cox, the long-standing king of Ibiza Sundays and former Space Ibiza figurehead, is known for marathon sets that travel through house, techno and everything in between. Guetta, global chart-dominator and stadium headliner, also built his early career in clubs — long before the pop crossovers and festival main stages.

Seeing them play together isn’t just a flashy booking. It’s a symbolic crossover between different chapters of electronic music history.

The 16-week residency promises a carefully curated journey each Sunday, with Cox maintaining full creative control. Opening and closing nights (June 21 and October 4) will feature solo all-night-long sets from Cox himself.

Throughout the season, Cox will also go B2B with Joseph Capriati, The Martinez Brothers, Chris Stussy, Dennis Cruz and Nicole Moudaber. Guests include Honey Dijon, Richie Hawtin, Alan Fitzpatrick, Sasha, Miss Monique and Skepta, with more names to come.

Guetta at Space: a vinyl reminder

For anyone who only associates David Guetta with EDM-era hits, it’s worth remembering his Ibiza roots. Before USBs and sync buttons, there were crates.

Here’s a throwback video of Guetta playing on vinyl at Space Ibiza — a reminder of his club foundations:

That context makes the July 26 B2B even more intriguing. This isn’t just commercial star power meeting underground credibility. It’s two seasoned DJs who understand how to build a dancefloor from the ground up.

What about ticket prices?

Ibiza is often framed as outrageously expensive — and yes, it’s not a budget destination. But ticket prices for these Sundays at [UNVRS] are broadly comparable to what you would pay for a major late-night techno event in one of Paris’ biggest clubs. Premium, certainly. Unprecedented? Not really.
75€ before 1am.

The difference is the setting: San Rafael, peak summer, and a sunrise ending after an all-night session led by two titans.

In a season that also includes residencies from Tiësto, Anyma, John Summit and Jamie Jones, this Cox B2B Guetta date already feels like one of 2026’s defining moments.

When two institutions finally share the booth, it’s more than a party. It’s a small piece of dance music history unfolding in real time.
