Hong Kong’s biggest and oldest music festival definitely wins all the prizes for the most original name! So, what is Clockenflap?
Happening at Central Harbourfront from November 9 to 11, Clockenflap is a Hong Kong music and arts festival like none other! They believe in pursuing creative passions and celebrating the joy of discovery and community! They feature different types of artists from event organizers, street artists, and even flight attendants!
The event was founded in 2008 by organizers Jay Forster, Mike Hill, and Justin Sweeting. In their words, they want to “put the city on Asia’s contemporary media-arts circuit” and has really nurtured Hong Kong’s indie and alternative music scenes.
It’s very eccentric, so check out this video to see more on what it’s about! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tc3Xqgbi54o
Then, let us know what kind of art you think Clockenflap should be sure to feature!
