I know it’s only November, BUT, we can’t deny that this year went by way too fast! Before we know it, we’re bringing in another year! And because of that, today, we’ll be saying goodbye to 2018 the Clubbing TV way by talking about the last few festivals of the year that you must catch – because of course, we want end the year with a bang!
Rave on Snow 2018
To celebrate their twenty-five year run, Rave on Snow 2018, which is happening from December 13 to 16 is taking a trip through rave history! They started small with an idea of some friends coming together with the love of boarding and partying, so the first edition dates back all the way to 1993/1994 with performers Acid Maria and Tom Novy. However, the festival quickly grew!
Saalbach became Rave on Snow’s home in 1996, and since then, has been regularly welcoming over 100,000 guests, some 1,100 DJs, and more than 1,200 hours of fun yearly!
What does Rave on Snow offer? Well, besides its name of course, which has a rave on the snow, and the ever-important skiing and snowboarding, they also have a tennis court, a night club (only in Berlin), and the most amazing lineup of electronic music! Magnetic Fields Festival
Magnetic Fields Festival is the name of the next year-ender and this time, it’s actually in Alsisar Mahal Rajashthan, India!
From December 14 to 16, you’ll be able to “step into [their] world” with three days of music, art, food and magical connections in the 17th century location! The venue has three stages: the BudX South Stage, which is the home of live music and electronica, the Red Bull Music North Stage, which has secured its spot as the home of dance, and finally, the Renault Desert Oasis, where the warm rays of the sun will reveal an oasis in the middle of the sands.
And, if you’re wondering, their lineup is already stacked with Daphni, Bicep (DJ), DJ EZ, Kamaa Williams, Joy Orbison, Midland, Denis Sulta, Shanti Celeste, Leon Vynehall, Chrome Sparks, Dbridge, DJ Seinfeld, Henry Wu, Courtesy, Moxie, DJ Rum, Natural Selection, Carista, Flesh (A/V) by Aqua Dominatrix, and SP MC only a few of the names to peform! Rise Festival 2018
This is Europe’s most talked about snowsports, music, and wellbeing festival – and it’s now on its sixth year! Rise Festival offers a six-day celebration in the snow, with music, adventure, and the theme of this year, “Wellbeing!”
What’s different about Rise Festival? Well, it actually offers a variety of ranges of mountain-high apres ski venues with panoramic views for bespoke parties leading club partners and ice-cold refreshments. If you want to experience being on top of the world, then you have to head to Les 2 Alpes from December 15-22!
And with that, the incredible resort of Les 2 Alpes got even better because it was actually voted as Europe’s top 3 ski resorts this 2018! You know why? Mareh Music 2018
Once of the top ten November/December festivals, according to Resident Advisor, is ready to go for another edition! Let’s celebrate New Year’s Eve with Mareh Music!
This Brazilian festival actually begins December 26, 2018 then carries over to January 2, 2019, so they want to be a part of your “New Year, New Me” mantra! This year, they’re moving to new location Atins in Lencois Maranhenses National Park, with newcomer artist as well like Capablanca, CC:Disco!, Detroit Swindle, Paramida, and Justin Der Volgen. But of course, regulars will be there as well like DJ Nuts, Joakim, Tahira, Mendel, and Eric Duncan.

DGTL Madrid
DGTL Madrid 2018 is actually opening up December, throwing the party in Calle Feria de Madrid from December 5 to the morning of December 7! This is art, sustainability, and the best selection of local and international talent for a grand debut in Madrid!
The event will have three stages: Modular, Generator, and Frequency. For Modular, performer list includes DJ Koze, Ame and Mathew Jonson, John Talabot, Trikk, and Javi Redondo. For Generator, lineup includes Len Faki, Robert Hood, Charlotte de Witte, Versions, and JP Enfant. And finally, on the Frequency stage, The Black Madonna, Midland, Skatebard, Damian Schwartz (live), and Vane Madrid will be performing!
And with the performers, DGTL Madrid also guarantees the most characteristically creative productions to be on display, like art installations and visuals to complete the DGTL experience! Valhalla Festival 2018
On December 22, “The greatest festival on earth” with “The best audience in the world” is ready to bring “the best way to celebrate the holidays!” Valhalla festival 2018 is a house, electronic, and techno festival that is Amsterdam’s “surreal holiday jam!”
This event features state-of-the-art production, carnival performers, and even funfair rides!
And of course, the lineup is no-fail as well! Valhalla has four stages: The World, The Circus, The Joker, and The Wheels! At The World, Cosqeaux, Chocolate Puma, Mia More, Moksi, Mr. Belt & Wezol, and Oliver Heldens are performing. At The Circus, you can expect Afrobos, Bokoesam, Broederliefde (live), Equalz (live), Johnny 500, Kris Kross Amsterdam, Lil Kleine (live), Sevn Alias (live), and Shirak. The Joker features Benny Rodrigues and Wouter S., Franky Rizardo and Michel de Hey, Luuk van Dijk and ANOTR, Prunk, and Relativ. And, for the final stage, The Wheels, you can expect Abstract Division, Ben Buitendijk and Van Anh, Colin Benders, De Sluew Vos and Sandrien, and ROD vs. Juan Sanchez!
