We love diversity, don’t we? And so do these festivals! These are our top four picks for the Most Eclectic Festivals you can catch this summer!
Bestival 2018!
Bestival, also known as “The Most Colorful Show on Earth,” is happening at Lulworth Estate, Dorset from August 2 to 5! This is at an incredibly enchanting wooded location on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast!
The lineup doesn’t fail to brighten up as well! There are a total of thirteen different stages, with names like London Grammar, Silk City (Diplo & Mark Ronson), and Grace Jones! We won’t say any more, you just have to check out the website! http://www.bestival.net/line-up
The event prides itself on not being all about the music as well, because they’re also offering 80’s Lycra Aerobics party, Butchies, Colour Pop Stop, Crafty Cabin, Disco Yoga, and so many more! This teaser is a good help for you to visualize! https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=yAJFO6NGag0

Wilderness Festival 2018
Welcome to Wilderness Festival!
In the words of the organizers, “We intend for your time in the Wilderness to be treasured. What you feel and experience here should last forever. Each year we create our four-day Wilderness with some fundamental guiding principles that we are proud to share – in the hope that you can better understand our motives and ambitions. We believe that having experienced the show, you too will become entwined in the ways of the Wilderness.”
This event is happening from the 2nd to the 5th of August at Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire to celebrate nature and the wild. Wilderness is inspired by and woven through an incredible landscape and it appreciates mother earth.
First, you choose from the different campsites, which are suited depending on your needs. Then, you choose from the different payment options to get tickets. Finally, you check out who’s playing and determine if you’re a planner or you’re just gonna go with the flow! Find out more about how the event works through their website! https://www.wildernessfestival.com/how-it-works/

In honor of the event’s advocacy, let us know what you love most about the wilderness in general!
Flow Festival 2018
Flow Festival is happening from August 10 to 12 in Finland, Helsinki and you don’t want to miss it!
The lineup alone is incredible. Some of my favorites who will be there? Kendrick Lamar, Arctic Monkeys, and Fleet Foxes to name a few!
The event’s program consists of music, art, and family Sunday! Family Sunday is from 1pm to 5pm, with festival-goers having the ability to bring their children up to the age of ten to experience what the festival is all about! The afternoon has activities for kids like disco, fantastical characters, and children’s movies!
Another awesome feature with the festival is their Pop-Up Cinema. If you want a break from the music, you can catch films like “Stupid Young Heart,” “My Neighbor Totoro,” and the classic “Grease.” If you want to see the entire list of movies, check out Flow Festival’s website! https://www.flowfestival.com/en/art/
If you want to know more about the vibe from last year, here’s the aftermovie! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSFDf6MsE3o
After you watch it, let us know if you’re more of a music or a movie person!
Nyege Nyege Festival 2018!
This is a festival set in Uganda happening from September 6 to 9! The festival stands for peace, respect and join. In their words, “Nyege Nyege is a Festival where you can do anything as long as you don’t hurt anyone”.
African culture is celebrated here, being a part of a Kampala based arts incubator which includes residencies from community studios, record labels, and artist managements. It’s a curated 4-day celebration where the vibe is eccentrically afropolitan!
The lineup alone is pretty cool! Orchestre Les, Sho Madjozi, Stella Chiwesh, Etran de L’Aïr, and Errorsmith are only some of the names that will be there! Their website has the entire lineup! http://nyegenyege.com/2018-artist-line-up/
