“Live from Detroit” is the first ever live mix album released by Dirtybird Records, which is the label Claude VonStroke founded in San Francisco in 2005. His hometown is Detroit, so he decided to release a live recording that is incredible!
This year, Claude VonStroke got to close the world-famous Movement Festival and because it was such a memorable moment in his career, he decided to record the headline set at Movement 2018 with never-heard tracks from artists like Catz N Dogz, DJ Deeon, Will Clarke, and Claude VonStroke himself!
In his words, “My set is very much an old-school style DJ set, all music no-one’s heard before, special versions, secret edits, all the stuff I’ve been saving just for this performance. It seems crazy to release a mix album in today’s world, but the amount of incredible original music I have collected from both known and unknown producers will make this something people can get really excited about.”
