Prodigy multi-instrumentalist Daktyl and acclaimed poet and songwriter Benni Ola are back at it again, teaming up to release ‘Say No More’ on TOKiMONSTA’s Young Art Records.
The track is the second release from their upcoming Chaos Theory EP, set to be released on May 19. The single is accompanied by a music video that features the duo exploring the streets of Los Angeles as they perform ‘Say No More’.
When Daktyl and Benni Ola combine their unique talents, they create something that is greater than the sum of their parts. Their organic relationship has resulted in a sound that is authentic and honest. The fusion of Benni Ola’s distinctive voice and Daktyl’s production prowess is evident in ‘Say No More’.
The track opens with a dark, muffled vocal sample that sets the tone for the rest of the song. Benni Ola’s aggressive but rhythmic verse builds on this tension until the drop hits, and Daktyl’s driving bass takes over. The result is a powerful and dynamic track that showcases the best of both artists.
Daktyl began producing music as a teenager in his university dorm room, and his talents have taken him to the forefront of dance music. With support from industry heavyweights like Billboard, Rollingstone, and Zane Lowe, Daktyl’s career has been nothing short of meteoric. He has released records on labels such as Ninja Tune, Mad Decent, and Monstercat, and has produced remixes for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Major Lazer, Halsey, and Autograf.
Benni Ola, a poet and songwriter from Southern California’s Inland Empire, has also made a name for himself in the music industry. His songwriting for artists like Channel Tres, TOKiMONSTA, and Flume, as well as his work writing poetry for brands such as Meta, Boost Mobile, and UOPHX, has garnered him a reputation as one of California’s hottest poets.
‘Say No More’ is the final single from Daktyl and Benni Ola ahead of their much-anticipated Chaos Theory EP release on TOKiMONSTA’S Young Art Records on May 19. Building on the momentum from their debut single ‘Matrix’ and now ‘Say No More’, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the duo’s EP. With their unique synergy and unparalleled talent, it’s no wonder that Daktyl and Benni Ola have quickly become two of the most exciting artists to watch in the music industry.
