Live modular techno is heading across the United States this winter. David Castellani has announced a Noetic tour stopping in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago and St. Petersburg (Florida) between February 28 and March 14, 2026.

The concept is simple: real live performances. No laptops hidden behind the booth. Just hardware, machines, and fully improvised sets.

One of the tour’s highlights will be the rare live appearance of Sterac & Lady Starlight, presenting a 100% hardware, fully improvised jam in Los Angeles, Chicago and Phoenix. Each show is designed to be unique and unrepeatable.

They’ll be joined by MAEDON, Berlin-based Tresor resident known for her bold, driving live performances that push analog systems into new territory. Castellani himself will also perform, bringing his signature modular intensity and immersive sound design.

Additional names include Trovarsi, Komprezzor, Sleepy Cat, Brittney Vandal and Dzenan. In St. Petersburg, Castellani will also host a free modular workshop to support emerging producers.

“The goal with Noetic is to dissolve the line between performer and crowd,” Castellani explains. This is about immersion, not spectacle.

Following a standout ADE showcase and a previous LA event, Noetic continues to champion hardware-driven, forward-thinking live techno.
