Scuba begins a new 7-track project with the London vocalist and producer DOMiNii, who makes his debut with the release of ‘Diivorce’!
Scuba announces ‘Diivorce‘, the product of his first collaboration with DOMiNii, out July 16th on Hotflush Recordings!
Scuba has established himself as one of the industry’s most respected artists and tastemakers. He has appeared in the top 20 of the Resident Advisor Top 100 DJs poll. Moreover, he won a DJ Mag award for Best Live Act! He is never hesitating to challenge himself with new creative endeavors.
For this project, he linked up with DOMiNii, a vocalist and producer from London. He takes influence from the likes of Talking Heads, Wang Chung, or Arthur Russell for instance.
This project gathers 7 tracks. The works begin with ‘Touch‘ and some Balearic vibe. Then ‘Womb’ a mid-tempo disco strut. It continues with ‘Out’ a marriage of power pop and indie rock. The favourite when released last summer ‘Forgive Me’. The glistening instrumental of ‘Tango‘. It finishes with a melancholic finale imbued with DOMiNii’s bittersweet vocal, ‘Tips‘.
