Dream Nation made its big comeback! The festival continued to ascend in stature and solidify its status as a must-attend event for visitors to Paris. It has grown to be one of the main electronic music festivals in Paris over the past eight years. Electronic music fans of various genres had an event planned for 2 nights under the stars on September 16 and 17. In this dream, nothing is ignored. Dream Nation’s ninth edition moved to a 100% open-air format, renewing its investment at “Parc des Expositions Paris Le Bourget” in order to honour the diversity of the electronic spectrum.
This year’s edition had no less than almost 30,000 dreamers, anticipated will be enthralled by Techno, Trance, Bass Music, and Hard Music on the program! Every night was a different universe. Dream Nation is mostly a musical tale that aspires to capture the variety and eclecticism of the electronic current. To do this, the festival chose to offer each evening its own focus, with no fewer than 60 acts scheduled throughout the course of the weekend.
In addition to a scene created by the Raw agency and another by Vitalic, Friday was devoted to techno and hard music. Angerfist, a masked figure, Manu le Malin, a pioneer, or English priestess Rebekah were just a few artists who provided an excellent summary of the acts anticipated for the festival’s debut.
When on Saturday, the mood was more trance, bass music, dub, and techno with these sounds that took centre stage. The public was confused by well-known figures in their areas like Pendulum or Astrix.
A true immersive exhibition, Dream Nation invites you to evolve in a dreamlike parallel world, the occasion had an industrial and futuristic theme. An extraordinary experience with spectacular sets and impressive scenographies, augmented with video installations, 3D mapping, holograms and other light effects ensured a psychedelic environment on the three stages, which were symbolic of the musical trends present at the event. All of them were accompanied by breathtaking circus shows! Both on the stage and the macadam, creatures and acts evoked the public’s dreams. Stalls and fairground attractions filled out this entrancing picture for individuals who aspire to be actors in their own fantasies.
