In total, 2000 people gathered last weekend, in the respect of the sanitary rules. It was the 20th anniversary of the EXIT Festival! Indeed, in collaboration with the United Nations World Food Programme, they celebrated it by creating a new project: the “LifeStream” Festival.
Above all, the EXIT Festival invited headliners such as Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, Nina Kraviz, Black Cofee, Adam Beyer and many more. This tremendous project took place at the magnificent Petrovaradin fortress. It lasted 4 days, meanwhile, the artists were performing either live or virtual. A construction was specially built for this occasion.
In other words, EXIT became one of the few festivals in the world that managed to make live performances in 2020. Although they had been postponed twice. Therefore, there were only 500 people every night in the audience. All health measures were conducted. They showed how a completely safe event could be organized and realized even during a pandemic!
