“Learn by Day, Party by Night”!
The International Music Summit (IMS) is returning for its two-day intensive educational program for the fourth year running. But this times is returning to the Mediterranean island of Malta on the 13-14 September.
Their program offers the young generation, passionate about electronic music to learn and build their career in the industry.
IMS for its program is working in partnerships with the most world trade Collages in the electro-music industry, which are the Association For Electronic Music, Point Blank Music School and Berklee College Of Music.
For this fall IMS College planned a carefully curated schedule of many interesting seminars, workshops, discussion and interactive sessions led by the most renowned DJ talents and industry leaders, which are hosted by BBC Introducing, Mixmag & Reprezent Radio broadcaster and journalist Jaguar.
The leading speakers for the IMS’ events will speak – Performance, Production, Promotion & Publishing, including representatives from ACS, AFEM, Armada Music, Beatport, Black Rock Publishing, Data Transmission, DJ Growth Lab, Elrow, MIT Collective and Mixmag and many more.
Their main purpose of this event is to help the millenniums to cultivate and inspire by engaging them with the artists, to prepare them for our future business leaders or new talents.
However, this year edition IMS College prepared for its delegates many one-on-one sessions with their leaders to help them with their electronic music career to the next level:
• ‘An EPK feedback session with renowned dance music photographer Luke Curtis who will also shoot new promotional headshots for delegates
• A bespoke branding review, offering advice on how to boost your chances of being noticed by the pros and how to connect with your audience at a deeper level
• Thirty-minute Production Clinic with leading experts from Point Blank and DJ Growth Lab, providing tailored feedback and advice on your current music project.’
Apart from learning everything possible on electronic world, IMS also gives some fun time for its delegates by night throughout the weekend with the most exclusives events like the phenomenon party Elrow and a rooftop classic networking drinks hosted by DJ Growth Lab.
Nicolas Spiteri from Maltese partner 356 Entertainment Group comments on the events as:
