Dipiu was founded in 1991 by Pierangelo Mauri. After being in the business since 1972, first as Director of EMI Music Publishing Italy and then as A&R Director of EMI Music Italy, he started his own publishing company by acquiring foreign catalogues and in 1995 he started a Record Label specialized in Funky-House: www.reshaperecords.com
On the Publishing side, we have reached # 1 spot in several countries with songs like “Only Girl (In The World)” – (53rd GRAMMY Award-winning Recording) by Rihanna, “S&M” by Rihanna feat Britney Spears, “Firework” by Katy Perry, “Sexy Bitch” feat. Akon by David Guetta, “Physical” by Enrique Inglesias and Jennifer Lopez, “Applause” by Lady Gaga, just to name a few……Our Catalogue also includes all the songs released on Dipiu record labels.
Besides our own publishing we administer other Italian catalogues such as Edizioni ZYX Music, Sonic Solution etc. which includes Hardcore, Techno, Afro-House tunes as well as songs performed by Black Box, Ryan Paris, P. Lion amongst hundreds of “80’s Dance Hits “ and the Media Songs Catalogue containing songs performed by Cappella, Gigi D’Agostino, Mauro Picotto, 49ers and many others.
We also represent several foreign catalogues covering a wide range of genres from pop to dance, from R n’ B to jazz, from latin sound to funk.
