The True House Philosophy:
“If people can dance together, they can live together”
Our purpose is to promote true House culture and music, from the past to the present. We have lost the philosophy of dance as a moment of social sharing, the house was not only music was a system of values. House music is a style of music that that was born in Chicago and New York in the first half of the 1980s. The name originated from a new style of dance music that began to be played in a night club called “The Warehouse”. The patrons of the Warehouse went to record stores to search for the songs they heard in the club and asked for records that had the “Warehouse Sound” until the stores start to shorten the name of Music Warehouse to House Music only. Many say that House Music is related to disco and electropop of the 70’s since styles of music but really thay were almost contemporaries. Frankie Knuckles is acclaimed by many as the “father” of House Music ,he is one of the pioneers of this genre along with other names such as Tony Humphries, Davis Morales, Louis Vega.
Currently there are many sub-sections of the House, such as: Funky-House, Tech-House, Disco, House, Progressive House, Electro House, Acid House, Soulful House, Neo-Jazz-House Afro House just to name a few.
