Igloofest is an annual outdoor music festival which takes place at the Old Port of Montreal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Co-produced by Piknic Electronik and the Quays of the Old Port, it began in January 2007 and now draws crowds in the tens of thousands every year.
Every winter, Igloofest brings together thousands of electronic music fans to dance under the stars in the Old Port of Montreal. With its icy decor fusing steel structures, its striking architectural scenography, its programming drawing from the best local and international DJs, its igloo village and its contest of unlikely snow clothes renamed “Iglooswag”, Igloofest is the one of the hottest events in the city and the most visible in Canada. Basically, it’s in Montreal that it happens in January and February.
