Born and raised in the city of Aarhus, he is truly a jack of all trades. From producing, DJ’ing and founding a highly successful imprint to masterminding festivals for tens of thousands in his home country, Mike’s journey has only just begun.
Picking up the pace by touching down on heavyweight imprints such as EMI, Parlophone, Ultra, and Size Records amongst others, Mike’s relentless slew of productions garnered support from a legion of triple-A DJs, including Tiësto, Hardwell, David Guetta, Steve Angello, Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Zedd, W&W, Martin Garrix, Knife Party, Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, & The Chainsmokers. His in-studio persistence got him featured on premium dance outlets such as Billboard, Vice, and DJ Mag, after which his meteoric rise was fuelled even further through consistent BBC Radio 1 and Sirius XM air play.
Soon after, some of the world’s most in-demand artists – Nick Jonas, Twenty One Pilots, Martin Garrix, & Zedd – began to strengthen the Mike Hawkins legacy through continuous remix requests. Carrying out his globe-trotting tour schedule with unbridled determination, Mike Hawkins stays close to the musical direction that inspires him the most. His unique look on the electronic music landscape of today unlocked a brand-new musical direction and signing exclusively with Armada Music and United Talent Agency meant choosing the path of his long-awaited second era.
