Back in their relatively younger years, people from all over the world discovered the duo thanks to their original remixes and tracks inspired by melodic house icons, which brought nearly 20 million streams. In 2018, their musical and artistic direction got more precise.
According to both, their music naturally evolves towards a wise mix of funk, rock and house music. Thanks to numerous trips to their London studio, they have been able to re-invent themselves, finding a utopian balance between The Jackson 5, C2C, Breakbot or even Justice. The fusion of these codes offers many possibilities to express themselves on stage through their guitars, piano and turntables.
In April 2018, Mozambo signed its major comeback with the release of the single « Papercut ». This housy and funky track was recorded in collaboration with the British singer and Amy Winehouse’s little protégée, Dionne Bromfield.
Back in the studio in 2019, the two 23-year old musicians Alexis and Guillaume continue to prove themselves. With the releases of “Alright”, “Block Party” and “Road Kill”, the electro-pop duo is shaping its unique genre.
