The first Star’s Music store opened in 1977 under the direction of Mr. Tallar, in Paris in the district of Pigalle. Known for its cabarets and naughty places, the Pigalle district is now a Parisian landmark for musical instrument lovers with its many new and used guitar shops in the streets of the south of Pigalle in the 9th arrondissement. . Star’s Music is the largest musical instrument store in this historic district of Montmartre with a total area of 500 m2. In 2000, the store was sold to Guillard Musiques to finally be taken over in February 2003 by the company TWEETER, under the holding of Music Business. The same company will then give a dynamic by opening a shop dedicated to microphones, a shop dedicated to acoustic guitar and another specialized in drums. Especially famous for its store in Paris, Star’s Music also established itself in Lyon in 2008 in the district of Gerland. Today, Star’s Music store Lyon / Gerland is one of the largest sales areas for musical instruments and sound equipment in France. In its expansion, Star’s Music takes over the former Guitar Studio store in the Opera district of Lille as well as the Battery & Co. store to gather under the Star’s Music Lille / Opera brand in 2010.
