Russian famed and most awarded DJ-trio worldwide known as SWANKY TUNES pioneered progressive, and electro-house sound and proudly represents Russia on the map of dance culture celebrating 20th anniversary in 2018.
Hailing from Smolensk DJ-trio made the entry in Top 100 DJ MAG in 2016 and proceeded with position #27 (Highest Climber) next year becoming by 2019 the only Russian act staying in DJ MAG TOP 100 4 years in a row while receiving all existing dance awards in their homeland.
From their early releases with Tiesto, Kaskade and R3hab to international hits like «Day By Day» with LP and ultimate European club banger «Fix Me», through huge success of house single «Far From Home» (over 13 million streams on Spotify, named Grand Slam on Slam FM) and Beatport chart-topper «Entertain Us» feat. Far East Movement, Swanky Tunes are showing no signs of slowing down and keep rocking the industry with a dance floor anthem «In The Club» released on Hexagon of Don Diablo.
Their remix of «LP – Lost On You» became 10th most played radio hit in Russia in 2016 and during four weeks it has been the most Shazamed track of the year. In 2018 they teamed up with LP to repeat that success and produce a new collaboration single «Day By Day». Another collaboration with French artists The Parakit ended up with an award for the Best International collaboration for single «Chipa-Lipa» released on the US iconic label Ultra Music.
Whether Swanky Tunes are in the studio or on stage, or in the global music charts, the SHOWLAND label owners and headliners are at the forefront of electronic dance music movement. Swanky Tunes performed on the global stages like Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld, Electric Zoo, Sensation, Electric Daisy Carnival, Global Gathering, Alfa Future People, ElectroBeach and many others. As special guests Swanky Tunes have also performed at Tiesto’s Club Life at Pacha Ibiza, the Swedish House Mafia One Last Tour, and Avicii’s Le7els tour, also held down a residency at XS Las Vegas and played at Heineken Arena Amsterdam during DJ Mag Awards Party.
Besides, Swanky Tunes’ track «Here We Go» was featured in the movie as official soundtrack for Fast & The Furious 6. Recent releases «Time», «In The Club», «Big Love To The Bass» received massive support by worldwide known DJs and peaked in top chart positions.
2019 promises exciting things for the band starting with releases on Fonk, Protocol and Spinnin’ Records along with new collaborations planned coming out soon.
