After the release of their latest single entitled “Never Give Up,” Mathame is celebrating being awarded ‘The Essential New Tune’ by BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong to launch their new cinematic project Phoenix.
Amadeo and Matteo Giovanelli have innovated Phoenix as an online stage and interactive space for artists and music lovers. Phoenix is itself an enigmatic planet in orbit around Earth, using 3D real-time technologies so that performances can have different backgrounds. It took two months to develop Phoenix and Mathame is already working on developing it into a computer game and virtual universe to connect to the web community.
Phoenix’s aim is to recreate a kind of magic and emotion that listeners can immerse themselves into.
