There isn’t a lot of 64 steps sequencers on the market, while it’s pretty easy to find 8 or 16 steps sequencers, or let’s stay up to 32 steps with some nice products from our friends at Arturia, it’s more difficult to have a variety of choice if you plan to build more complex sequences and melodies requiring up to 64 steps.
But, thanks to Korg, we now have one powerful box, capable of 4 x 64 polyphonic sequencer, with dedicated Pitch, Mod and Gate CV output on three melody tracks or if you prefer to go via MIDI : up to eight voices of polyphony when the box is connected via MIDI.
All for just below 300 USD, and at this price tag, it might end up in a bunch of Christmas stockings this holiday season!
