Ocean Fest: the first charity concert will take place on March 31st in Biarritz and will be organized for the benefit of the Sea Shepherd.
The concert, which will run from 5 pm to 2 am, is aimed at promoting ecological commitment by bringing together local actors and citizens around common issues.
Seven artists, Mosimann, Polo & Pan, Silly Boy Blue, Synapson, The Avener, Vitalic and Worakls, will perform voluntarily.
100% of the proceeds from the concert will be donated to Sea Shepherd France, an NGO that works to protect marine ecosystems by taking concrete and nonviolent action against illegal marine life killings, illegal fishing, and the hunting of cetaceans.
Local anchorage and eco-responsibility are the two key words of the event, which also seeks to support the economic fabric of the region by using local transport, food, and drink suppliers, and responsibly managing on-site waste.
Unfortunately this event is already sold-out but we surely hope they will do more dates!
