Paul Kalkbrenner just released a new single 'SI Soy Fuego', accompanied by a video clip from his set at EXIT, and announces tour dates!
Paul Kalkbrenner is running hot, releasing ‘Si Soy Fuego’ brand new single! Moreover, after 18 months of no-shows, he headlined the renowned Exit Festival. Finally, he unveils the Episode One dates of a brand new theatrical live concert tour in October.
‘Si Soy Fuego’ is a percussive cut that Kalkbrenner centers around a Spanish language vocal. You can already buy it HERE! It’s a buoyant message encapsulating Paul’s enthusiasm for live music’s return. This sentiment was mirrored in the video. Indeed, it was shot at this past weekend’s 20th-anniversary edition of Exit Festival in Serbia.
This performance gave a glimpse of what to expect from Paul as he performed eight tracks live for the first time. The forthcoming Episode One dates will see Kalkbrenner re-imagine his famed live concert. He will unveils a brand new physical set more akin to a broadway stage than a concert. All of this has been developed over the past 18 months.
In addition to Episode One concerts, there will be a unique series of screenings of Hannes Stoehr’s ‘Berlin Calling’! These screenings will be the first chance to watch Stoehr’s ‘2021 Club Edit’ of the movie. This will include never before seen footage and Stoehr’s remixed vision for the film, as well as a special pre-concert appearance from Paul himself.
