SoundCloud launches all-in-one plan for independent artists
SoundCloud is stepping up its game with a new all-in-one artist subscription combining distribution, monetisation, fan support, and merch tools, all under one roof.
Artists can now keep 100% of royalties from plays across Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, YouTube Music, and SoundCloud itself, using its integrated distribution system.
A new “Support” button also allows fans to donate directly to artists, with zero fees taken by the platform.
The plan further includes on-demand vinyl pressing and built-in merch sales, creating a single hub where artists can release and monetise both digital and physical music.
These features are automatically rolled into the Artist ($3.25/month) and Artist Pro ($8.25/month) tiers.
As CEO Eliah Seton put it:
“SoundCloud has always been about putting artists first. This launch gives them everything they need to build and grow their careers — without compromise.”
This move positions SoundCloud as a full-service ecosystem for independent artists, competing with other platforms rolling out direct-to-fan tools.
