The French electronic music group, composed of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo has chosen the artistic way to announce the end of this era. In a video named ‘Epilogue‘ published on their YouTube account, we can see a short 7-minute film taken from their 2006 film Electroma. Barely an hour after its release, the Epilogue video already had nearly 500,000 views on YouTube.

The mythical duo, the tricolor flag bearer of the French-Touch, has not yet given a reason. Contacted by the Pitchfork website, the agent Kathryn Frazier, who was in charge of the group, confirmed the information without clarifying the issue.
Daft Punk will remain as the imprint of a generation and a style, both musical and visual, on electro music. One More Time, Digital Love and Harder or Better, Faster, Stronger made the public dance for years. Their album Random Access Memories released in 2013 brought them five Grammy Awards including Album of the Year!
