'Belleville' is an album full of emotions, with tracks named after memories, and a jazzy influence! The french duo Calmos & Berzingue is back!
Raphaël and Alexandre, two Parisian producers, form the duo Calmos & Berzingue! They present a new EP: ‘Belleville‘, out on Pont Neuf Records!
This album is a tribute to those years when they immerse themselves in the production of their first records, in the famous Parisian district. On this new maxi, 4 places inspired the tracks which transcribe the atmospheres of these memories.
The first track, ‘Java‘, refers to the Bellevillois club in which the two friends tasted their first nocturnal emotions.
The next ones, ‘Pali Kao‘ and ‘Piat‘, are the names of the streets adjacent to the park where Raph and Alex hung out during their studies.
Finally, ‘Burnouf‘ is the name of the street behind their school, where they met.
With this album, they took their music towards a more analogical approach, while remaining faithful to the jazzy influences that have impacted their young music career.
