The Sónar Festival is also known for its 'food experience', it brings in each year different gastronomies for the festival-goers pleasure.
Sónar Festival have set up the ‘food experience‘, where they highlight different gastronomies, especially Barcelona’s specialities. This festival really likes to provide the festival-goers the best possible experience so they want to delight each sense.
The concept is simple : a food area animated by 3 new restaurants of Barcelona and each day of the festival is dedicated to one. They all focus on Mediterranean gastronomy but with different perspectives.
The first one, La Balabusta, is influenced by the Israeli origins of one of the chef Ronit Stern. The food is very healthy and sustainable, that’s why we like it. The 2nd one is Prodigi, where the young chef Jordi Tarré really likes to explore unusual things. He creates very original meals, inspired by all his experiences in the Catalan cuisine. The last one is Palo Verde, influenced by the French-Algerian origins of Ludwig Amiable who’s also worked in Greece. He loves to use exotic flavors such as Japanese, but he stays faithful to his Mediterranean cuisine.
You will also be able to eat the food of different pop-up kitchens, during the day but also the night. You will find a lot of different gastronomies who will please every taste buds. This experience will be unforgettable for every part of your body, the Sónar Festival won’t disappoint you. You can take your tickets right HERE
