The world’s largest club festival and business conference, Amsterdam Dance Event, has finalized its 2019 program to celebrate the 100th anniversary of electronic music!
Between October 16 to 20, ADE is expecting 2500 artists and 600 speakers to give their take on the industry for 400,000 visitors from over 100 countries.
For ADE’s opening concert on the 16th, SOHN and the Metropole Orkest will join the organizers in featuring France. A special program in Da Balie, along with a number of emerging and established artists, will pay homage to the 100 years of electronic music.
In addition, ADE’s program itself promotes sustainability, social innovation, and mental health – to name a few themes. ADE Sound Lab and ADE University invites starting artists and young professionals to learn from the pros. In addition, they researched on the growth of the industry in South Korea last year, while this year, they’re exploring Japan and China, among others.
And among the names on the lineup include Amelie Lens, Carl Cox, Carista, Colin Benders, DJ Nobu, Helena Hauff, Identified Patient, Jeff Mills, Martin Garrix, Nastia, New Order, Peggy Gou, rRoxymore, San Holo, Sevn Alias, SOPHIE, Tchami, The Black Madonna and Tiësto.
