Treesome is a festival, a movement, and a dance. A wild longing for freedom that will bloom on the 7th and 8th of July in a setting of over 3 hectares in the heart of the Yvelines, surrounded by nature.
For two days, a free, safe, and associative environment where bodies and ideas will intersect, embrace, and fight in an attempt to conceive tomorrow’s party.
We will dance beneath the trees till early dawn, without constraint, to the sound of practically everything that makes electronic music fans throb, from fierce techno to the heats of afrobeat to house and its good waves.
Techno, house, and afrobeat: a debut edition honoring electronic music. The lineup, which is open to the international scene, has the desire to collect by sweeping the range of electronic music. Demanding techno, invigorating house, dancehall, and afrobeat: the public is asked to gather around a lineup that reflects its image: diverse and curious.
In the heart of the leisure base of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Treesome celebrates, beyond music, all that nature can offer us. Between a few dance steps, mark a short pause to take the measure of the frame which surrounds you. Trees, a body of water (classified European Natura 2000 site), many species of birds and nothing else. A natural place conducive to exchanges and reflection, but whose we must also take care all together. From the management of waste to its energy consumption through the restoration and noise pollution for wildlife, Treesome has awareness of its impact and will make every effort to tend towards a new model of sobriety on all these aspects.
60% of the cast will be female, trans, or non-binary. Treesome attempts to break down the barriers that exist between artists and the general public: exiting the big machinery, we will find scenes on a human scale with an innovative circular scenography that has only one goal: to bring together, from young fans of electronic music to the most neophytes, from 18 to (ideally) 99 years old.
