From the enchanting town of Grasse in the south of France to the pulsating city of Miami, DJ 4Rain has taken the EDM scene by storm.
Omnipresent in some of the best music charts, DJ 4Rain is here to stay.
From his humble beginnings in Grasse, France, to the heights of a Floridian skyscraper in Miami, DJ 4Rain (Stephan Tavares) remains grounded despite his stellar collaborations with some of the biggest names in the music industry such as Tory Lanez, Meek Mill, and Jahlil Beats. With an unwavering dedication to his music and his fingers constantly tapping on his keyboard, DJ 4Rain is always in rhythm.
DJ 4Rain has just finished his African tour (Cape Verde, South Africa & Nigeria) and has recorded a one-hour show at the fortress of Cidade Velha in Cape Verde, a highly symbolic location tied to his roots. The DJ set, which is now available on his YouTube channel, reflects the rich history of the UNESCO World Heritage site and his connection to his ancestors.
When asked about his favorite artists, 4Rain replies that “he draws inspiration from cultures around the world. He’s fortunate enough to be able to travel extensively and discover the cultures of each continent.”
For the little story, DJ 4Rain’s journey began when he visited Miami for six months after completing high school. Initially on vacation, his stay opened his eyes to the DJ profession he wanted to pursue. He later joined a sound engineering school in Montreal, where he studied audio production. Finally, 4Rain received training at the renowned American recording studio : Camp David Studio.

As DJ 4Rain continues his world tour in 2023, his unstoppable drive and passion for music push him to conquer new heights. His single “Out of Time,” featuring South African and Botswana artists Team Distant, Lioness Ratang, and Priscilla K, has caught the attention of YouTube Music. As a result, the single will be prominently displayed on a billboard in the heart of New York City’s Times Square, fulfilling a childhood dream for the Grasse-born DJ.
