A Party for Everyone: Peacock Society x Yoolabox

Because no one should ever have to choose between their disability and their right to party, Peacock Society is taking concrete steps towards inclusion. This year, the festival is teaming up with Yoolabox, a ticketing platform dedicated to people with disabilities, to ensure that the celebration is genuinely accessible and inclusive—not just in words.

Who’s behind Yoolabox?

Yoolabox is an initiative by Malik Badsi, an entrepreneur committed to cultural accessibility. Back in 2010, as a student, he founded Yoola, a travel agency specializing in adapted trips for people with disabilities. Building on that experience, he launched Yoolabox, an online ticketing platform that allows people with disabilities to book seats for cultural and sporting events, with services tailored to their needs.

Concrete steps for enhanced accessibility

For this edition, Peacock Society is implementing several measures that are too often forgotten in cultural events:

  • Reserved entrance and parking for people with disabilities

  • Accessible restrooms and bars for those with reduced mobility

  • Induction loop system on the main stage for people with hearing impairments

  • A dedicated team on-site to welcome and assist people with disabilities

  • Assistance dogs allowed on the festival grounds

Why does it matter?
Including people with disabilities in cultural events is essential to ensure equal access to culture and celebration, in a society where many services remain outdated or poorly adapted. Initiatives like those of Peacock Society and Yoolabox help remove physical and social barriers, offering everyone the opportunity to fully participate in cultural life.
