To celebrate Pride on Saturday, June 28, the highly committed TIMIT collective will be lighting up the night with their neon pride lights. An inclusive party for all, and a dancefloor that makes a statement!

TIMIT is a collective that calls for dancing with pride. Its commitment follows in the footsteps of LGBTQ+ struggles, from the Stonewall riots in 1969, when drag queens, gays, lesbians and trans people fought for the right to dance, to the club culture of the 80s, when all ethnicities, genders and struggles came together on the dancefloor, which became a sanctuary. With one watchword: PLUR. PEACE, LOVE, UNITY, RESPECT.

The fight isn’t over

Music with a history is important. Lately, with the development of the industry, many have forgotten the foundations of electronic music, its struggles and its libertarian demands.
And yet, the fight is never over. In France, we have the opportunity to celebrate Freedom Month, despite a few reactionaries who still haven’t moved with the times, but this is not the case in other countries. We need to continue politicizing the festival, so as never to forget those who once fought, were beaten, are still fighting and have sacrificed their lives to change the way things are.

The party is political

The party is a sensory grammar, a language that doesn’t need words, it’s a collective, a whole united under an egalitarian banner. It’s deeply subversive, and is and always will be a means of protest. So if there’s ever a time to choose a party, it’s now, because partying is good, but protesting is better!

A legendary line-up

On the Mia Mao decks from 10pm to 7am: Berlin techno icon DJ Hell, Queer rave ambassador Kittin, living god of LGBTQ+ roots Cormac, and Groove house and techno legend Frédéric Djaaleb.

The party continues at the Glazart from 6.30am to 4.00pm with the best of young DJs from the Paris scene: Nîmes, Sylvio B, L’Homme seul and Victor Salmon. A great way to give visibility to the next generation of committed artists.
