For the first time, Defected organizes a big online event on the Twitch platform. Artists will be divided into 3 rooms, with 3 different atmospheres.
After 9 weeks of success with its virtual events, the English label Defected innovates, to compensate for the closure of many clubs. Recently, Defected announced an association with Twitch to use its “Squad Stream” function for musical events for the first time. On this occasion, a new program will take place from Friday, June 19 to July 3 (7 PM to 10 PM): Defected WWWorldwide weekly series of events.
During Defected WWWorldwide events, world-known artists will be divided into 3 rooms, each one playing sets at the same time. In that way, everyone can switch room and be immersed in a different universe, just like during festivals. This never-seen experience is the perfect way to have fun while staying home safe.
On Friday, June 19, New Yorkers and house music icons Louie Vega and The Martinez Brothers will headline and mix in room 1. In the second room, Eli Escobar and Luke Solomon will perform. For the third room, Defected resident, Darius Syrossian and others will be playing.
On Friday 26th, Defected’s sub label, Glitterbox, will be in the spotlight. This Glitterbox x Pride event has been organized in collaboration. The renowned New York club, House Of Yes and Brighton Pride, decides to unite to create it. Both clubs will have their own virtual room alongside Glitterbox, which will be in the main room. Among the artists: The Shapeshifters, Billy Porter, Horse Meat Disco, and lots of others will play.
For July 3rd, Ferreck Dawn and Sam Divine will perform in the Defected room, while Mambo Brothers, David Penn, and Manu Gonzalez will be in the Café Mambo room. Finally, Mike Dunn and Terry Farley will animate the third room: To The Floor.
